- Personal computer (ideally at least a Pentium III, with 64 Mb of memory);
- Hard drive (minimum of 2 Gb);
- Colour monitor (ideally 17 inches or larger);
- SVGA graphics card, 1024 x 768, 256 colours;
- Keyboard;

- CD-ROM (necessary for the land surveyor during a cadastral renovation contract)
Essential tools for Windows users
- a Windows 2000 operating system, XP, Vista or 7
- Internet Explorer 7.0, 8.0 or 9.0
- a CPC viewer plug-in (Cartesian Products Inc.) to display indexes and deeds pages
- a viewer plug-in by Active CGM (Intercap) to display the cadastral plan for Québec (overall view), which number is higher of 1 000 000
- a viewer plug-in Adobe Reader to display cadastral plans in PDF Format
- data decompression software (such as WinZip)
The workstation must also accept cookies and JavaScript.
If you are installing the tools required to consult the on-line Land Register of Québec for the first time, use the installation wizard. It will validate the configuration of your workstation and install the tools needed. Depending on your needs, it is also possible to install or reinstall a specific tool using the custom installation mode.
We recommended that you use a Windows system with Internet Explorer browsing software. This is the only configuration that allows the electronic consultation of documents, registers and cadastral plans.
Macintosh users
OS 9 and OS X running in classic mode are no longer supported. For more recent versions, help is available from customer service. Please note that we cannot guarantee compatibility with all systems and browsers, and that to display documents you will need the CoPyCat plug-in viewer. |
